Ellen Corbin is a waitress at the Eureka Cafe. Her father Wayne is released after ten years in prison for a bank robbery. The money was never found and Wayne says he had a partner who got the money, but he never identified who that partner was. A suspicious drifter named Stake Morris always seems to be hanging around. Nobody knows that successful rancher Bart Benton was Wayne's partner and Bart now will feel a lot better if Wayne were to suddenly turn up dead. It's up to Roy, Dale, and Pat to find out the whole truth.
