Pat becomes infatuated with a pretty newcomer, Millie Johnson (Frances Conley) who comes to Mineral City to open a women's hat shop. However, Millie and her grandfather are actually crooks and Millie is married to a notorious outlaw. Millie uses both Pat and Bill Hastings (Jim Diehl), the express agent, to get information about $100,000 in gold that is in the express office safe. Millie and her gang steal the gold, but will they be able to keep it? Millie's former residence is called Medicine Creek in the episode title, but it's referred to as Medicine Wells several times in the episode. Maybe that was just part of Millie's deception?
