Warning: Spoilers
"You Steal My Eyes" opens with a dying man caught in a bear trap, trying in vain to strike Johnny Yuma with his knife from a distance. Yuma takes him to a nearby hut, the inhabitants motioning him to move on despite the presence of the gravely wounded stranger. Johnny sneaks inside and disarms the lone occupant, Prudence Galt (Cathy O'Donnell, later seen in "The Hope Chest"), a blind girl waiting for her trapper father to return. As Yuma ties up his horse she administers to the unconscious man (George Graham, later seen in "The Liberators"), learns to her dismay that it's her missing father, and also that his wounds proved fatal. She proceeds to turn a gun on Yuma, despite the lurking presence of the real killers, Hump (William Bryant, third of nine) and Sculley (Ross Sturlin), the latter masterminding the theft of her cache of valuable furs, enough to pay for an operation that might save her sight. Cathy O'Donnell was a promising actress winding down her career, with only three more credits prior to her untimely death at age 46 in 1970.
