"Misfits" finds Johnny Yuma in Doz Cabezas, Arizona, where three runaway teenagers intend to rob the town bank then live the good life in San Francisco. As Johnny writes in his journal there'd be no point in warning anyone, so he believes that by joining up with them and masterminding the crime himself he can prevent them from getting into serious trouble. Assigning one to work inside the bank, another to work the stable, Yuma puts their plan into action, including the escape route across the desert. A very brief appearance from Smokey Fabares (only one other credit), older sister of Shelley, and a more substantial one from Olan Soule (second of three), whose presence at the very end reveals a fascinating plot twist that would make perfect sense were the real life timetable in sync with the 1867 setting.
