Excellent quantum episode

Warning: Spoilers
Seen this episode several times and am impressed with the shock ending. Spoiler: POWs that Sam and Tom's unit are after is none. Other than Al Calavicci. When Andrea Thompson and Al say Pulitzer, but not for her, we get a clue who the 3rd POW is. At the end, Sam says' 'you could have been free', but Al says he was always free as he taps his forehead, and it would take 5 years, before Al is repatriated.

Only someone like Don Bellisario could write an episode about what the Vietnam War was like, from a veteran himself

Amazing Episode!!

I believe this to be the best episode in the entire series! <3 I cry each time I see it...give it a rewatch every couple of years or so. Why aren't there more shows like this today (other than the fact that Hollyweird has gone into the Dunny as of late, and has lost all credibility (and common sense))? ;o)

As it is Part 2 of "The Leap Home", of course it's recommended to watch Part 1 just prior. :o) Enjoy!!

One teeny weeny little hair to split

Warning: Spoilers
Excellent episode in a series that hit its peak in this season with numerous memorable scenarios and situations.

One tiny element that may (or may not) have been overlooked though is that Tom is still alive as the clock ticks over into 9th April and thus past his scheduled death but in the original timeline, he was killed on the 8th. Given the time difference between Vietnam and home, there were still at least 11 hours to go before it was midnight back in the US so he wasn't quite safe yet. He might have been killed any time up to 11:00 in Vietnam and still be counted as 8th April.
