I can't believe you shot me brother

This is a strong episode with some hilarious standout moments.

The opening scenes include a very funny moment that would be cruel if it did not happen to such a comical character as Brian. Peter Kay and Dave Bramwell are on great form in this scene.

Ladies Night at the Pheonix club has some humorous scenes, the best for me is arguably the character Holy Mary's funniest moment of the entire series.

I enjoyed the film noir spoof of the plot and interaction between various characters, particularly Max and Paddy who have their most prominent roles so far. Obviously the main point of it is to set up the 'Max and Paddy's Road to Nowhere' spin-off series, but the two bouncers have some great banter here, especially in one scene involving Max's brother and the "broom'andled Mauser".

This episode is for me the most explicit in terms of its language and frequency of sexual references. This is not a criticism, just a warning to anyone used to this aspect being fairly tame and less frequent in previous episodes.
