After a very good first series, the show returned with a blisteringly funny first episode in Series Two, it was all change, and not just Margaret's hair.
The familiar format of the show starts here, the new house, Nick Sweeney and his housebound mother next door, it was a mark of pure genius on Renwick's part.
You get a potent mix of sadness and humour, Margaret's tears at the fate of her house are balanced with the hilarious scene where Victor rants about being dressed as The Sundance kid.
Have pilchards ever been so funny? I would argue not. This is pure, unadulterated, golden comedy of the highest order.
Outstanding, 10/10.
