Revealing mistakes: 2.23 -- When Julie realizes that Caleb is having chest pains in the pool she throws the glass on the ground and dives in the pool to save him. If you watch her throw the glass you can clearly see that she is already holding broken pieces of 'fake' glass which she throws and we then hear SFX of glass smashing. moreQuotes:
Caleb: You could have been killed.Kirsten: I learned my lesson. Always eat dinner before you drink.
Caleb: That's not the lesson to be learned here.
Kirsten: I made an error in judgement. You should be familiar with that.
Caleb: This is not about me, Kiki. You have a problem. And my God, did you give any thought to your kids?
Kirsten: I am a good mother!
Caleb: You're also an alcoholic. Your mother was one too. She did her best to hide it. But I always knew.
Kirsten: Oh, come on! Why do you think Mom drank the way she did? Why do you think Hailey left the house at 17? If this family is screwed up, it's because of you! All our lives, you terrorized us, bullied us, treated me, Mom, and Hailey like business employees rather than family.

Seth and Zach squabble over who should take Summer to the prom and who will meet George Lucas for dinner; Sandy takes drastic actions with a recovering Kirsten; Ryan starts to piece together what happened between Trey and Marissa, courtesy of Theresa; Julie's attempts to poison Caleb take a surprise turn.
Seth must make the toughest choice of all: meet George Lucas, or take Summer to the prom! Kirsten still gives the impression of that never-grown-up cheerleader, or daddy's little girl, or whatever. She is wearing pink and she is not really as sexy as Julie and she's definitely not as mature as Julie or so.
George Lucas' presence in "The O.C." was stellar, he talking with Seth was really cool. It's nice that he agreed to represent himself on a T.V. show. I loved Sandy's irony about "Shawn of the Dead" being a very nice zombie romantic comedy.
