Kirsten hits rock bottom after Caleb's funeral, prompting Sandy to finally take action; Jimmy Cooper resurfaces and almost immediately renews ties with a mourning Julie; Jess bullies Trey into participating in a drug deal that turns into a shootout; Ryan finally learns the truth about what happened between Trey and Marissa, leading to a bloody confrontation.
Trey is so messed up, sometimes I feel so much pity for him, sometimes I like his bad boy look, but most times he's really annoying. The look on his face was memorable, when Marissa shot him. Obviously, since Oliver, she even starts shooting people to protect Ryan. She never thought about herself. Ryan should remember that when they will have their next fight. Seth and Summer are so cute to be there for their friends...
This season finale end in such an "O.C." manner. In the first season finale, the boys where going different directions and both the girls were pretty lost with alcohol and shrink counseling. Unlike that one, the second season finale ended with the four friends being there for each other, in good and bad. Well, in this case, in tragedy.
