- TriviaIn an interview, Sean Murray says that this is one of his favorite episodes of the show because we finally get to learn a little bit about McGee, and he becomes more of a main character.
- GoofsWhen Abby IDs the .357 magnum bullet that killed Agent Pacci via its ballistics, she rather improbably manages to narrow it down to the Smith & Wesson Model 66 revolver, to which Gibbs quips that it is small and 'easily concealable', however the Model 66 is a larger, N-frame .357 magnum revolver and not by any measure a 'small handgun'. Interesting enough, the image flashed on the screen is the smaller, J-frame S&W Model 60 (which IS small and easily concealable).

Agent Caitlin 'Kate' Todd: [walks to Tony's desk] What was it like, tonguing a guy?
Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo: [pause] Forget it. I can't take it.
