Fran Drescher's parents appeared several times throughout the series: Mort Drescher in 9 episodes either as a male patient, 'Uncle Stanley', a retired man or 'Morty Fine' and Sylvia Drescher in 4 episodes, either as a female patient, a retired woman or 'Aunt Rose'.
This is only the second--and final--time the children's mother is seen in the entire series. She appears here in a dream sequence, and is played by Bess Armstrong. In I Don't Remember Mama (1994), she first appeared on video tape, as the children reminisced about her.
This-originally aired as a one hour episode-was split in two for syndication, complete with intro credits for the 2nd part, thus making said 2nd part the very first time that Fran starts an episode wearing the exact same outfit as she wore when the previous episode (aka part 1) ended. The 2nd part of this episode also ends with "To Be Continued".
Two actresses played 'Jocelyn', one of Maxwell Sheffield's sisters: 1960's British cultural icon Twiggy (1 episode, season 1) and Sophie Ward (3 episodes, including this one).
There was a dream sequence with the Nanny talking to Lucy in a "I love Lucy" episode that has only aired once. Due to copyright issues, they removed from future airings. You can see the scene on YouTube.
