Womanizing newspaper columnist Martin Lander (a nicely smarmy portrayal by Ed Marinaro of "Hill Street Blues" fame) finds himself being stalked and tormented by a mysterious sultry-voiced woman (voiced with sexy aplomb by Tina Louise) who keeps leaving messages on his answering machine.
Director Ernest Farino relates the enjoyable story at a constant pace as well as maintains an intriguing enigmatic atmosphere throughout. Moreover, it's a lot of fun to watch this slimy heel get driven to the edge of madness. Teri Ann Linn contributes a sharp turn as fed-up foxy blonde Linda while David Spielberg lends sturdy support as Lander's concerned boss Tom Reardon. The big reveal at the end is a real hoot. A neat show.
