- Dorothy and Tony are both living at the flat but Tony interrupts Gary and Dorothy in bed to inform them that Les, the seedy landlord of their local, the Crown, has been ousted, and the pub is being refurbished. In protest the men try other pubs but end up back at the Crown, whose new landlord Ken only got the job through nepotism. However, angry that she is having to do all the housework, Dorothy goes to the Crown and shows Gary up with a display of blokeishness that gets them both barred. Tony meanwhile makes crude attempts to win over Deborah, who is into astrology, by drawing his birth chart and claiming that sex with him is in the stars.—don @ minifie-1
- Dorothy and Tony are both living in the flat but Tony interrupts Gary and Dorothy in bed to announce that their local the Crown is getting a trendy refurbishment and that seedy landlord Les has been sacked and replaced by Ken, a man with no publican experience but relatives at the brewery. In protest Tony and Gary boycott the Crown to try other inns but soon return. However Dorothy, angry at being left to do all the housework, gets Gary barred by acting crudely in the pub. Tony, aware that Deborah is now into astrology, fails to convince her that it is in the stars that they sleep together.—don @ minifie-1
- Les has been ousted from the Crown, replaced by ex-icecream man Ken. Gary and Tony aren't happy and decide to check out the other local drinking holes to see which is the best. This involves drinking copious amounts of alcohol and working out which pub has the best to offer.
Meanwhile, Dorothy moves in and Tony tries to take advantage of a vulnerable Debs who has become interested in astrology.
