Similar to Clark's Washington D.C. trip episode.

Paul Hartman as Emmett Clark is highlighted. The Emmett is cheap premise opens the floodgates for very good humor. Seeing Emmett seething at suggestions of trip upgrades then cutting back was hilarious.
Usually bland Mary Lansing as Martha was at her best conniving Emmett by every trick in the book to go to Europe. All the supporting cast was funny putting in their two cents. Everyone had a take on Europe.
Classic boring Sam Jones (Ken Berry) being the ultimate sounding board. Concerned with everyone's problems. Only more than happy listening over and over again.with his signature comforting cliches that everything will be okay.
