LA is never kind to Ben

Warning: Spoilers
The girlfriend of a man within a close-knit group of friends is murdered. The police think he did it. This case takes place in LA.

The title of this review is because in other future episodes, Ben has a hard time in LA as he does here. Lol

Mainly in this one, it was Ben and Tyler's investigation that I enjoyed. Tyler loved being in LA. At first. He even referred to it as his spiritual city. By the end, he couldn't wait to get home. Poor Ben was arrested for drug possession. He's in LA and doesn't have any friends on the police force. So the cop treated him as a real perp. Funny. I got a good laugh when Ben was trying to get poor beat-up Tyler off the couch. Lol.

I had to laugh again when Ben questioned a witness, a neighbour, who likes to look at his neighbour when she gets undressed and saw her in her bikini the night of the murder through his window. Ben deliberately says "when he was peeping into the window" which was objected to and sustained. Later, when he has the witness step out of his seat and he presented the glass doors with blinds in the courtroom, Ben proved he couldn't see the face of the man who was wearing the bathrobe as the blinds were too low. Then he added very cheekily and cleverly:

Ben: "And when you saw Miss O'keefe, you didn't focus on her face either, did you?"

Prosecutor: "Objection. Your honour...?"

Ben: No further questions, thank you, bailiff."

Lol. He didn't need to do that as he already made his point, but it was clever and funny and suggested the man was focused on the woman's body.

Anyway, pretty decent one, 7/10.
