Conrad's and Michelle bet about Ben made this one hilarious which gave good contrast to the sad situation of the murder.

Michelle and Conrad have a 50-dollar bet that Michelle can/cannot interest Ben in a romantic way by sending out all the right signals. These scenarios are hilarious. They are like cute, clever, funny, little skits in the episode. I laughed when Ben does exactly what Conrad says he would and never would realize Michelle was coming on to him, such as polishing his shoes or scratching his back against a wall. Lol.

These funny light scenarios contrasted nicely with the darker emotional impact of the mother/daughter murder situation.

Michelle was great as she disguised herself as a homeless woman in order to determine who the killer is. I had to laugh when Conrad said Ben would totally go for her in that get-up. Lol.

Ben asked Conrad in the end if he thought Michelle was acting strange. Lol. 8/10.

...the great oerformance by veteran actress Shirley Knight, as the ling-time and dutiful and unappreciated legal Secretary, Phyllis Todd is in abdolute and unbelueveable contrast to the typically blonde bimbo performance of Beth Touissant as her jilted "used and abused" daughter, Angela Todd....

...Touissant, whose believability jived with a mindless "beach babe" or professional hooker is simply unbelievable as anything remotely close to "attorney material"...

... her early career revolved around modeling and appearances in MTV videos for various '80's pop rock groups...followed by brief roles on "Dallas" and the ill-fated WB prime time soap, "Savannah"...

...stick to the soaps, Beth... where lip implants and bottle blonde air-head looks are the norm; but leave serious drama to the pros...
