  Hawkman : Not gonna happen.

  Shadow Thief : Really? I think we've got room to negotiate.

  [extending claws from his fingers] 

  Shadow Thief : I understand that Thanagarians are stronger than humans. I wonder... how long will you last under my tender care?

  Hawkgirl : Knock yourself out, jerkhole.

  Shadow Thief : A little rude, darling, don't you think?

• Vixen : All the Thanagarian tech that was left behind after the war was either confiscated or destroyed.

  Batman : Most. Not all.

  Green Lantern : Thanagarian contraband sells for big bucks on the black market.

  Hawkgirl : Where'd you get this?

  Carter Hall : In Egypt, during an archeological dig. It's not from the invasion. It's been on Earth for over 8,000 years. You're Thanagarian. With your help, I could translate the glyphs, figure out how the technology got there. We could investigate this together. Come with me to Egypt.

  Vixen : Cairo's beautiful this time of year. I could recommend some nice restaurants.

  Batman : The Metrotower has some of the most advanced scientific equipment on the planet.

  Carter Hall : Okay. While they run their tests, maybe you and I can discuss this in more detail. Over dinner?
