[as the Society and the League face off on the field, zoom in on one little boy sitting in the rafters]
Little Boy : [whispers] Get 'em.
[the League and the Society roar and charge]

[the Society's airship touches down in the middle of a football stadium's half-time show]
Grodd : Now that I have your attention... we've come to this arena because it's where the strong routinely defeat the weak. How you so-called higher primates revel in that! Yet outside these walls, you do everything in your power to shackle the mighty and prevent them from fulfilling their destiny! That's all about to change.
[police approach, Sinestro shoves them away with his ring]
Grodd : Just a small demonstration of our might. Not convinced? There's more.
[he presses a remote, and the cells rise into view, holding the captive League]
Grodd : There they are, your heroes, who violate every law of nature by coddling the weak and powerless. We say, it's time for a new order. But it can't arise until the old one departs...

Grodd : There's still a chance for us, you know.
Superman : What are you talking about?
Grodd : We're the superior ones, you and I. We should be running the world.
Superman : I don't think so.
Grodd : Pity.
[with a snarl, he grabs Superman and uses his powers on him]
Grodd : You had your chance. Now you can feel the pain.
Superman : I've... felt... worse.
Grodd : [seeing him raise his hand] Oh.
[Superman flicks him away through the goalposts]

Clayface : We should get rid of them now. I mean...
Grodd : What happened to your sense of drama, Mr. Hagen? This is something that has to be done in front of the whole world. Do your part, and I'll let you bring down the final curtain.
Giganta : Don't underestimate us, Clay. We could have taken the League even if Grodd hadn't been messing with their moods.
Clayface : We shouldn't overestimate ourselves, either.
Sinestro : Right. What are we gonna do about the Lantern?
Grodd : I don't know. What are we going to do about you, Mr. Stewart?
[tapping his head, indicating his brain]
Grodd : Can't hide from this.

Killer Frost : [Clayface frees the Justice League from their imprisonment] Why'd he do that?
Grodd : Of course.
[J'onn transforms back into himself]
Grodd : The Martian tricked us. You froze the wrong one.

The Shade : [watching surveillance video of the Flash] Fool.
Grodd : Maybe, but I owe him quite a lot. If it hadn't been for a certain accident he caused, I never would've gotten my new mental powers.
The Shade : That's why they broke up so easily. You willed them to.
Grodd : Even my mind isn't that powerful. For months, I've been reading their body language and facial expressions like a book. They were holding back considerable resentment for each other. All I had to do was get those feelings to come out.
Parasite : How'd you do that?
Grodd : Parasite, have you ever said something you knew you shouldn't have, something really hurtful?
Parasite : Sure.
Grodd : What made you do it? Too little sleep? Low blood sugar? Maybe you were just in one of those moods you get into every so often.
Giganta : I hear that.
Grodd : Precisely. This blessed organ of mine can send out thought waves that affect those moods. They open the door that most people keep locked.
Killer Frost : So, what's next?
Grodd : We've already divided. Now we conquer.
