Joey and the Tonight Show (#1.16)

Joey is going for the Tonight Show and gets stuck in traffic. Gina made Michael show guy a finger before that so now he is stuck right next to him. Gina goes on dates inn other guys' car and has trouble choosing them. And Joey needs to think of a way to make it to the show. Alex comes with a cute pink scooter and he makes it.

This was a fun episode. A great original idea and they managed to put many different jokes into it. Gina was pretty awesome in this episode, always made me laugh. Like making Michael show the guy the finger was funny, what a cool mom! She should have hooked up with that White Snake guy. They would be perfect for each other.

And Joey on the pink scooter was just too cute!

This is a thinner episode from 'Joey' series 1, that sees our hero all set to appear on 'The Tonight Show', but getting stuck in traffic in the process.

I can't deny though that there were some good moments along the way, and agree with the previous reviewer that Drea De Matteo shone as Gina.

However, much like the episode where they went to Vegas it seems to run out of steam at the end, with a rather daft finale.

I think 'Joey' as a show in general gets a lot of stick, but it was a far better show than people make it out to be, and this episode is proof.
