This episode shows the quality of 'Joey'

Warning: Spoilers
I thought this episode was great, 'Joey' series two had hit a bit of form by this point, but sadly the axe was looming.

Gina wants a traditional family Thanksgiving, Joey wants to go and party at his neighbour, Dean's place.

What's lovely about this episode is that the ensemble cast around Joey all have lots to do, and it's especially nice to see Paulo Costanzo being given more to do as Michael.

Even the 'pottery' B story has lots of laughs in it, and again I liked Miguel A. Núñez Jr. as Zach.

Yes, Joey is in every scene and it's a bit annoying, but I'm sure Ray Romano is in 99% of every 'Raymond' episode, so it's not such a big deal.

I'm enjoying this series as I re-watch it, and thought this episode was one of the best of this second run.

Joey and the Bachelor Thanksgiving (#2.10)
ComedyFan201017 October 2014
Warning: Spoilers
It is Thanksgiving time and Gina who loves this holiday is organizing a big family event. But Joey becomes friends with a neighbor bachelor who is throwing a wild party at his home and Joey wants to go there. At the end he decides though that he wants to be with his family. And there is also the problem with native artifacts that Joey first wants to hide to not get any trouble on his property.

It is a fun episode but has too many formulas in it that makes it a bit unoriginal. And once again, we had a Friends episode where Joey and Co wanted to go to a wild party instead of spending it with the family. And why is the poor family so dumb? Couldn't Joey just tell them what the deal with those plates was?
