The twelve-year-old Apache brave was played by an uncredited Christopher Pate, the real-life son of actor Michael Pate, who played Chief Vitorro.
Two of this episode's guest stars found regular roles this same season on other Western series. Rough n' ready Randy Boone landed the role of Francis Wilde on Cimarron Strip (1967), and the deep-voiced, dog-despising Don Collier secured the role of Sam Butler on The High Chaparral (1967).
Michael Pate played Chief Vittoro during the run of this series, an obvious reference to his role as Vittorio in the John Wayne movie of the same name, " Hondo".
