The evil but fun villain is a master at droll delivery. Reminiscent of Dracula movies I grew up watching thanks to the great job by the costumers and set designers.

Warning: Spoilers
A friend of Duncan dies. Duncan spots immortal, Nicholas Ward. In the past, Nicholas Ward killed several people making it seem like a vampire. I think this was during the vampire craze in the 18th century. His M.O. is to marry rich by killing those connected to the person he wants to marry making sure she inherits everything.

I love that they spent so much time in the flashback. I think it got more screentime than the present-day scenes. The costumes and set design, Duncan's sideburns were reminiscent of movies about Dracula that I grew up watching. Had that same feeling, fog and all. Loved it. Great job by the crew.

Nicholas Ward was so evil but he was fun and had the best funny one-liners. My favorite scene is when Baines kills Ward thinking he's a vampire and hammers a stake into his heart. He turns his back on him. Of course, Nicholas gets up, and Baines turn's around. Ward says: "that really wasn't very nice, Baines. Hardly sporting, old chap. I hope you get my point," as he hammers the stake into Baines' chest. Well, I chuckled. A lot. Yeah, it was evil but somehow the actor playing Ward made it funny.

Mac with Joe's helps, tracks Ward. Here we go again with Joe helping an immortal when he's not supposed to be interfering. Turns out Ward has plans to marry an heiress and killed those around her and related to her. There is a pretty good fight between Mac and Ward. He gets in one last droll one-liner: "everyone's a critic."

Joe and Mac become closer friends agreeing to meet for drinks later.

I love this episode. Jeremy Brudenell who played Ward was a master at the droll delivery. He made the villain fun. Great job. Again with the bad dubbing for the french actors. I gave it a 9/10.
