- Richie Ryan: [On the phone, being held at gunpoint by Reinhardt] Is that you, Mr. MacLeod? Where have you been? I've been calling you for hours.
- Duncan MacLeod: [On the other end of the phone] What? Richie?
- Richie Ryan: Yes it is, Mr. MacLeod.
- Duncan MacLeod: Uh, Tessa had an accident. I had the phone off for a while. I didn't want to disturb her. Are you okay?
- Richie Ryan: Rebecca's got me. She wants you to meet her at 9am sharp. I'm dead if you don't come.
- Duncan MacLeod: I understand.
- [They both hang up]
- Tessa Noel: Who was it?
- Duncan MacLeod: Richie's being held.
- Tessa Noel: Rebecca?
- Duncan MacLeod: Reinhardt.
- Walter Reinhardt: Well, MacLeod, I think I orchestrated this rather nicely. Tell me, how does it feel to kill an innocent young woman?
- Rebecca Lord: [Stops pretending to be dead] I hate you! I loved you.
- Walter Reinhardt: You will again.
- Rebecca Lord: Never!
- Walter Reinhardt: How fickle women are.
- [last lines]
- Rebecca Lord: He used me to get to you, you know. All these years I wasted trying to avenge a man I didn't even know.
- Duncan MacLeod: It's over now.
- Rebecca Lord: He was the strongest man I ever met. And then when I thought he was dead... God, I was a fool.
- Duncan MacLeod: You were in love.
- Rebecca Lord: I was a fool. And I believed that I'd never meet another man like him again. Until I met you. I almost wish I'd met you first.
- Duncan MacLeod: Go get your life back together again, Rebecca.
- Rebecca Lord: Sure.
- Duncan MacLeod: I want you to go to the library.
- Richie Ryan: The library?
- Duncan MacLeod: Yeah, it's the place where they keep all the books. It'll be a new experience for you.
- Walter Reinhardt: Finish the Game, MacLeod.
- Duncan MacLeod: You know our Game's not for spectators.
- [He walks back to the coach, closing the door behind the passengers]
- Duncan MacLeod: Don't worry, Walter. We'll meet again.
