Did you know
- TriviaMary Jane and Lucy wonder who will win the big game between USC and Oklahoma, the #1 and #2 college teams in the country. USC did indeed play a home game against the Oklahoma Sooners on September 29, 1973. On the dais, Harry says that O.J. will be in the booth with sportscaster Tom Kelly on Saturday. This likely means this show (filmed in the summer) was probably originally targeted to air on Monday, September 24 but was moved up a week. Mary Jane thinks that USC will prevail, but in actuality it turned out to be a rare tie score game.

Lucy Meets O.J.
Lucy and Harry get two tickets to the Oklahoma/USC game from O. J. Simpson.
A good episode with some funny moments. One of the funniest is Mary Jane saying she has a crush on Howard Cosell, Here's Lucy was in competition with Monday Night Football at the time.
O. J. Gives tickets on the 50-yard line to Harry, O. J. makes a mention of his first wife Marguerite. Harry finds out the scalp value of the tickets so the notorious cheapskate tries to sell them. He ends up getting arrested. Funny final scene has him singing the USC fight song. O. J. Previously played for USC and at the time was with the Buffalo Bills.
