Stevie (#1.11)

Warning: Spoilers
Stevie who is a star and went to their school comes to make a performance where her career started. She is also retiring to go to college. Zack makes a bet with Nikki that he will kiss Stevie and pretends that he is dying. But Miss Bliss catches him. He ends up meeting Colleen who is actually Stevie without make up and she gives him a kiss. But he doesn't know that it is her and still loses the bet.

A very entertaining episode. Stevie is all dressed up like the stars from that time which is very entertaining and she indeed looks very different when one sees her with her normal hair. I wonder what Suzanne Tara did with her life since her acting career didn't really proceed. She was pretty good in this episode. And the scene at the end when Zack figures out who she is was great.

Warning: Spoilers
A student turned celebrity, named Stevie is a famous 17 year old pop singer. Zack presumptuously makes a bet with Nikki that he can kiss her. The problem is that Steve is retiring from singing, and she is giving her final performance at JFK to attend Notre Dame. Zack comes up with a falsity that he's dying. Mr. Belding believes the lie, and Stevie believes the lie, but not Miss Bliss. Bliss is far too familiar with Zack's history. Meanwhile, we find out Stevie's real name is Colleen Morton, and she's staying at Miss Bliss's house. I love this episode. This show was really starting to hit its stride, and really beginning to show the aspects that made Saved by The Bell such a hit. I realize this is a prequel to Saved by The Bell, but this episode felt like one that could have been a SBTB episode with how it was done. Zack is at his manipulative best here. He does all the things we would come to know and love. Faking a death might be a touchy issue to some, but it's done in a comedic way, so that atones for it in my opinion. Suzanne Tara (Stevie) is one of the most gorgeous women I've ever seen in my life, even for her age at this juncture. She had it all. Her subtle storyline with Zack in this movie is adorable. Zack's reactions around her are priceless. The ending is absolutely amazing, and makes me grin like an idiot every time. It has an amazing guest star, the storyline is top notch, and it has everything going for it. This is by far the best episode on Good Morning Miss Bliss.

Could also be called Hannah Montana prototype.

Warning: Spoilers
Mega hit pop star "Stevie" announces her retirement at the tender age of 17. Her farewell performance will be at JFK Jr. High. Of course Zack develops a scheme, and as usual goes overboard. That plot is described in detail in another review. What is not discussed at length is that "Stevie" is secretly Colleen, the niece of Miss Bliss. As Colleen she is an attractive blonde teenager, but when she dons her "Stevie" wig she becomes a super sexy raven haired vixen. Now am I the only one who sees some interesting parallels to the "Hannah Montana" saga, in an episode that aired 3 years before Miley Cyrus was born? As Colleen she confides to Zack that Miss Bliss has convinced her to go to College and invest in her Future with an education. She also kisses Zack, who is still unaware she is Stevie. He doesn't find out that Stevie and Colleen are the same person, until after he has officially lost his bet that he can kiss Stevie. Of course none of his friends believe him.
