Let's Get Together (#1.9)
ComedyFan201025 May 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Tina's boyfriend breaks up with her and she moves with Miss Bliss. She is pretty hard to deal with and Miss Bliss really wants her out. The class has a project on convincing the public about the inventions from the 18th century. Zack and Nikki work together but have a lot of fights, still they work it out.

A good message of the episode on saving friendships. I liked the scene where Zack saves their project with his "call" and the conversation that says that phones can save friendships.

Yet the Miss Bliss and Tina part of the episode was just incredibly annoying. An adult behaving like Tina did is not fun, she just seemed like an incredibly annoying character,

Too much Tina ruins a potentially memorable episode

Warning: Spoilers
Zack and Tina are constantly quarreling, and things get even worse, when Bliss assigns them together for a school project. Miss Bliss gets an unwarranted visit late at night from her friend Tina, because Tina got kicked out by her boyfriend. Tina drives Miss Bliss crazy. She ruins china-ware, makes Bliss have cold showers, and is a disaster in all areas. Miss Bliss can't take it anymore, and asks Tina to stay somewhere else. This upsets Tina very much, and she starts neglecting Miss Bliss. Far from terrible, but most likely the worst episode in this series, and it's rated as low as 5.9 for a reason. Let me begin by stating the obvious. I can't stand Tina's abrasively, annoying character, and felt she was a pointless addition to this show. She brings no positive or negative heat. For some inexplicable reason, the writers insisted on making her a focal point for this episode, much to my heavy chagrin. There was at least 5 or 6 occasions I yelled "F off" at her unbearable attitude. If I was Miss Bliss, I'd let her have it in a verbal way, she'd never forget. I don't care if they made up in this episode, Tina's actions are deplorable, and she's impossible to like. I don't want total decorum or anything, just interesting characters. She singled handedly ruined this episode for me. Zack and Tina's arguments aren't that interesting in the whole scheme of things, so this is the first episode I have truly not cared for. I find Mark-Paul Gosselaar to be one of the most charismatic television actors for his age, but even he can't save this episode. This tries to convey a message that you should work things out, before things get out of control. That is very true, but it's done in a mundane and annoying manner, thanks to dull material, and the annoying Tina
