Tiny Bray has been desperate to get something on vicious band of car thieves headed up by The Carter brothers, he catches them in the act one day, and gets a heavy beating in the process, the attack is witnessed by Rachel Gully, the reluctant witness.
I honestly think that this show is getting better and better as it reaches the end, this is yet another excellent episode, in spite of being almost sixty years old, it's as engaging and entertaining as it was when it first aired.
The Carters really are a nasty bunch of thugs, and the violence looks very realistic, that scene where Did attached Tiny for example, it looked genuine.
Two faces that would become very well known in years to come, firstly Gretchen Franklin, she'd be known to millions in EastEnders, and secondly The Robert Redford of the readymades, a young Trevor Bannister, famed for Are you being served.
My how times have changed, Tiny is described as being elderly at fifty, that did make me chuckle.
Back in the day where there was no such thing as witness protection, people really did have to fend for themselves, it makes you think.
A trip down memory lane for car enthusiasts, with lot of classics to enjoy, the amazing Ford Zephyr for example.
Another excellent episode.
9/10.
