KAOS plans to beach the U.S. Sixth Fleet on Schwartz's Island, supposedly located in the Caribbean. The Sixth Fleet would not have steamed en masse through the Caribbean, which was then the purview of the U.S. Second Fleet.
Siegfried supposedly pulls the Chief in by his steel helmet, however, a standard diving dress helmet is made of corrosion-resistant brass or bronze, not steel, neither of which is ferromagnetic.
After the Chief is sucked to the magnet on the island there is a closeup of his face inside the helmet, behind him the background is green and you can see hints of foliage. At the end of the episode when Max and 99 are using the Chief as a raft there is again a closeup of the Chief's face inside the helmet, but the background is still green as if he were still on the island.
When the magnet on the island is "reversed" to repel the Coast Guard ship, the footage of the ship is simply run backwards. The smoke runs in reverse back into the smokestack, and the receding ship now has a "wake" that is moving backwards and ahead of the movement of the ship.
Shtarker's lips don't move when we hear him say 'very interesting'.
