The sheriff's car changes, briefly, from a 1964 Ford with a sheriff's star door emblem to a 1963 Ford with a Utah Highway patrol emblem on the door. The short scene showing the 1963 Ford Utah Highway Patrol car is from "Terror at High Point" (December 1963). Elizabeth Allen who played Louanne Crowell was also in "Terror at High Point".
The hotel guests are traveling to Hazelton, Wyoming, which is supposed to have a rail station and is implied to be a town of at least some size with some services. In reality, Hazelton is an unincorporated place with fewer than 10 residents, with no railroad and no services since the post office closed in 1912.
