Joey yelling "Chandler!" after learning that the cooking magazine's pages were stuck together is considered by the creators to be among one of the dirtiest jokes on the show.
Joey is the only one who likes Rachel's dessert, but in reality, Matt LeBlanc (Joey) admitted he was the one disgusted because he accidentally ate some food after David Schwimmer (Ross) spit it back out on the plate.
In the uncut dvd version, Elliott Gould (who plays Jack Geller) mentioned that this was his favorite episode.
When Ross and Joey are finding out how Rachel managed to screw up the trifle, Ross notices the pages are sticky to which Joey says "Chandler!" in an accusatory manor. Joey calling out Chandler was an ad-lib from Matt LeBlanc.
The game Joey and Ross are playing at the beginning of the episode is Twisted Metal 2 (1996) for the Sony PlayStation.
