This episode did air but was placed last in the series in the DVD box set. The Message was the last episode made but along with Trash and Heart of Gold never aired. An intelligently written episode. A dark episode with the feeling of being alone in the black but are you really alone. A ruthless bounty hunter tracks Serenity with stealth. Bounty hunter by the name of Jubal Early boards Serenity while the crew is bedding down for the night. The prey is River but the bounty is actually the hunter. River who takes control the whole time Early is looking for her. Jubal Early shows what an evil Ba$#^*d he really is. Picking on the little girls of Serenity. First intimidates Kaylee in only a way a man could dominate a woman. Then beats up Inara's beautiful face. This shows what quite the creep he is. Zoe is locked up with the rest of the crew one woman who can deal with what Jubal is dishing out. Simon who will die before handing over River nearly foils her plan. River with the help of the Captain Reynolds give Jubal Early whats coming to him. A heartbreaking episode dealing with River's predicament she is finally accepted as family.
