Different type of episode, and it works. Lullaby of Darkness has an abused family and girl. Robert is in deep trouble with the usual Equalizer tactics. The Equalizer uses psychological tactics. The writing and directing keeps the viewer interesting. The character development of the father, and little girl has us wondering what will the characters do next? Lullaby of Darkness was a memorable episode. 7 stars.

So many easy ways this could have been solved

Imagine if Mickey had video-taped the interview instead of McCall. Then the tape would have been admissible because it wouldn't have been a product of a violation of a court order. Why was McCall this dumb? Because the story demanded it.
The style of the Dolls coming to life is what only 1980s Hollywood imagined what a child's fantasy would look like.
