  Jeff Colby : Look, that's where there's a chance for me, to take over one of the offices. To be my own boss.

  [Fallon doesn't look up] 

  Jeff Colby : That's where I wanna be with you. We could find a house on the lake, or wherever you want. And live there together, just the two of us.

  Fallon Carrington Colby : I hate those swamps.

  Jeff Colby : Well, what *do* you like?

  [yells:] 

  Jeff Colby : What? I mean, look, I'm not stupid. I'm not as stupid as you think I am. I mean, did I think you were madly in love with me?

  Fallon Carrington Colby : Jeff, will you please keep your voice down?

  Jeff Colby : I mean, I didn't come into this thing with my eyes closed. I knew there were other people in your life before me. There were other people in mine.

  [sighs] 

  Jeff Colby : I convinced myself it wasn't important. I just felt that, for now, I loved you enough for both of us. That somehow I could make you care for me the way I care for you.
