Very touching

I was very touched by Buddy's speech, where Morey Amsterdam beautifully played Buddy finally getting his bar mitzvah for his mom, especially when he talks about his beloved family and friends. Even Mel was there.

Buddy having an affair?! Nah...
planktonrules18 December 2023
Buddy has been behaving oddly around the office and Rod and Sally are concerned. They are more concerned when repeatedly he keeps leaving work early...with a variety of ridiculous reasons. At first, Rob thinks Buddy is seeing a therapist...then later, he assumes Buddy is having an affair! Is Buddy cheating on poor Pickles or is there some other alternative explanation?

This isn't a funny episode...but it is a touching one. The reason for the evasiveness and odd excuses isn't because of anything bad...and it's fortunate, as having Buddy cheating on his wife would have ruined the show. Instead, it's just a sweet episode...and one of the few that feature Buddy in the lead.
