Dawson's semi-autobiographical television series "The Creek" airs on Wednesday at 8pm on The WB in 2008. Dawson's Creek (1998) aired on Wednesday at 8/7c on The WB from its second season onwards. In reality, however, The WB no longer existed in 2008 as it shut down on September 17, 2006.
The poem that Jack's student reads aloud and then complains about is "a poem by a guy about another guy. It's like a gay poem," is "We Two Boys Together Clinging" by 'Walt Whitman', from his 1855 book 'Leaves of Grass'.
This episode takes place in 2008.
When Christopher turns off the television at the end of "The Creek", the names Sandra S. Orsolyak, Louisa Gore Hamn, Julie Delaney, Kari Delaney, Chris Miller and Renee Raphael can be seen in the closing credits. These credits are drawn from Dawson's Creek (1998) itself. The first four worked in the makeup department while the latter two worked in the wardrobe department.
The series finale shares its title with the series finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987): All Good Things... (1994). Both episodes depicted the characters' future.
