Fun Stuff

Trivia:
This is part 1 of the CSI:Miami / CSI:NY crossover. Part 2 is: "CSI: NY: Manhattan Manhunt (#2.7)" (2005) more
Goofs:
Factual errors: The registration number of the crashed plane is N017766, which can be clearly seen painted on its side. All US registered aircraft are assigned numbers beginning with the letter N. However, by FAA rule, there can be a maximum of five numbers and/or letters following the N. And a zero is never the first character following the N. The zero in this case cannot be a misreading of the letter O, because the letters O and I are never used in N-numbers. more

Excellent First-Part 'Crossover' CSI, 22 November 2006
10/10
Author: ccthemovieman-1 from Lockport, NY, United States

Note: This is the first of a two-part crossover story, the second on CSI-New York (ep. Manhattan Manhunt 2-7).

An excellent, intense story of a serial killer being transported back from New York to Miami to help identify where he buried a girl, and the adventures that happen afterward.

Henry Darius (james Badge Dale) is the killer, a very smart psychopath who first sabotages the plane, escapes and winds up killing some co-eds in Miami. Meanwhile, Horatio and the team try to make the case against Darius (who apparently wasn't tried yet or convicted of the first Miami murder) and then to re- catch him.

Darius winds up taking a hostage back to New York and the story is picked up from there on CSI: New York.
