Three different and gruesome crimes are investigated in this episode. The first two are originally thought to be just one accident - a car on a roller coaster flying off the tracks and landing below, killing all on board and apparently one poor bystander. A quick examination reveals that the so-called bystander had not been struck down by the runaway carriage, but had been previously killed by a blow to the head. Foul play is also suspected with regard to the carriage going off rails. And, the body of a 13-year-old girl is found starting to decompose in woods nearby. She has also died from a head injury.
I thought the episode was okay. I'm not a fan of the show anyway really, I watched this one for the guest appearances. It is pretty cool how they figure stuff out. There were some really interesting clues in this one. But really it wasn't anything special. The crime of the dead girl in particular I found to be rather similar to a whole bunch of other plots from crime shows. I don't know if it was similar to anything specifically, but it just seemed to me kind of obvious. The other plot line involved a little more investigation, but was still kind of boring. And scary.
