I guessed right the director on the 14th second of the episode - right after the 'Bellagio fountains' scene. It's because of the absolutely genius soundtrack which perfectly suits to Kenneth Fink's style. He usually films the most tragic (e.g.1.7/4.3/4.4) and/or downbeat/dark episodes. And he is one of the three best directors of the series (along with Richard J. Lewis & Danny Cannon) if not the best one.
This episode also shows up mutual relations between team members, consisting of some conflicts and, in particular, Sara's envy of Catherine and Nick. (The Nick situation will come out a bit later in episode "No More Bets", in Lincoln.) But Nick of course proved to be much wiser than Sara when they were talking about Greg... It seems that she'll never stop behaving like a 14 years old teenager...
At this point, this is one of the best of Kenneth Fink's episodes. Watch it alone in the dark. Ones of the moments I liked were the 'interview w/Julie Waters' scene at the ending (her equivocal phrase - I won't reveal it here) & the 'SWAT' scene.
10 out of 10 for soundtrack & 10 for outstanding directing. Recommended for all the fans of downbeat movies.
