I love Eric/Rachel/Jack dynamic, they're so funny together mostly Eric, his way to rush to pee was just to much fun in bars.
It's sad to see how Cory always feels so bad whenever he can approach someone talented, he really needs to be more confident and stop comparing himself to others. Alan is so away from been average, he's an outstanding dad and human being for that matter and proved it one more time here. I don't know where Cory's issues comes from or if he's just a spoil brat kid never satisfied of what he has but he really needs to grow up on this subject because he can be really mature for a lot of things but when it comes to just assume what he is which it's nothing to be ashamed about that becomes tougher. But what a fun to see him sing in the same time than Morgan during her contest.
Aside that, I love how Shawn and Angela still need to stay side by side anytime they can and need to praise the other as they did in the first scene, if we already know she's not over him we can definitely say that he's so not over her either.

It was overall an enjoyable episode. Cory's young and still coming into adulthood. Although I don't know why he singled out his father and not both his parents (not that they did anything wrong). But I'm glad Alan helped him through it and taught him a valuable lesson. As always Eric scenes are hilarious.
Absolutely no disrespect to Alexandra Nechita (who I just found out is an actual painter in real life), but I think the casting director or the writers made an odd choice here. She in no way looks the same age as Morgan. I mean she looked like she was 16-17 years old standing next to Morgan. She did a good acting job, but the writers should've found a different way to have her meet Morgan or get someone that looks 12 years old.

This was actually a pretty good episode. The Jack/Eric/Rachel dynamic is still funny and the lesson Cory learned from his father was interesting.
Also, I see some people saying the girls are not the same age, but they are. Alexandra was taller and looked older, but they were actually both born in 1985, so they are the same age.
