WDC Kerry Holmes gets placed in her first case at Sun Hill, partnered with DS John Boulton, the pair try to take down criminals Sean Massey, with the help of informant Michael Duggen.
It's a good solid episode, I can't say that there's anything remarkable or ground breaking going on, but on the whole it's a good watch. It's well made, it's a good story, and sees the arrival of a new character.
I had completely forgotten about Kerry Holmes, but she was a good character, and makes a good start here, talk about a baptism of fire, of all the people to be partnered with, John Boulton. Kerry initially seems quite soft, she'd develop with time, CID is looking incredibly full of blokes.
John Boulton is up to his old tricks, testing Kerry like a tea lady on work experience.
After Tony and Eddie's stories, it is nice to have a bit of a changeup.
