Definitely jinxed.

A dealer is arrested with a load of LSD on him, out on bail, he strikes a deal with Haines, who's after bigger fish, Meadows is very unhappy.

It's a very, very good episode, and a great way to end The Bill in 1993, it's an excellent episode.

Gary Whelan, a very, very good actor, but the character of Harry Haines just hasn't really worked, that is until this episode, he shows some real metal, he's tough, confrontational, and more than happy to put Meadows in his place.

Meadows we've learned is a bit of a man child, when he doesn't get his own way, he throws his toys well and truly our of the pram. Meadows makes the right decision here jumping ship, it'll be interesting to see who's up next in the role.

Great to see Donald Sumpter here, a cracking actor, another one who puts Jack in his place.

The scene of the raid is very well staged, it looks terrific, and you see plenty of action.

9/10.
