A grey Jaguar is seen speeding around Sun Hill, driven by two youths, it causes mayhem, almost hitting Polly and Mike.
This is an absolute belter of an episode, I don't remember many episodes from my youth, this one however, I do, we all talked in school about how cool this one was, it holds up remarkably well.
I should have left for work ages ago, but had to sit and watch this, I was gripped from start to finish, terrific the whole way through, right up until the epic final scene. This doesn't let up for a second, a real quality watch.
It features one of the show's best ever car chase scenes, it was a superbly staged sequence, it looks terrific, and unlike others it lasts, you get your money's worth here.
The final appearance of PC Adam Bostock, I'll be honest, I'd forgotten he was on the show, he was a little cocky and irritating, but certainly made his presence felt when he first appeared, unfortunately he wasn't given a fair crack of the whip.
