DI Johnson works alongside an Officer from HM Customs, testing to nail a loan shark and dealer, who's forced people to carry gear into the country.
It feels like something of a relief this episode, it's The Bill, but regular, it is a very refreshing watch. As an episode, it's good, it feels like a snapshot of the crime, rather than the start, middle and end, here we just get the middle segment.
A shame we don't get the interviews, and the slanging marches with the briefs, but an interesting episode to watch nonetheless.
Sally gets a pretty easy ride from HM Customs, I would have expected them to be a little less agreeable to help in such an accommodating fashion. I'm a big fan of Johnson though, she had the hard edge that has been very much needed, and missed.
Always great to see Daniela Denby-Ashe, she had appeared year previously, very good actress.
Good, 7/10.
