It's a chilling series opener.

Loxton and Monroe are called to the home of a missing boy, June and Tony have to deal with a stroppy man who's complaining about kids playing football outside his house, crushing his petunias.

New year, new series, same gritty stories, this is a very sinister, dark story to start the new year off with, it's well thought out, well penned, and character driven.

No wonder this one comes with a content warning, it's horrible, they clearly made a decision to end the year with a few lighter stories, and begin the year here with something hugely disturbing.

This is the time where computers were really starting to take off, Sega and Nintendo were everywhere.

The excellent David Bamber is terrific here as Mr Baxter, he's an awesome actor, he really does play parts like this very well, he really is an absolutely loathsome, vile character, he brings this character to life.

No wonder Tony wanted to thump Baxter, he's gross.

Bleak, 9/10.
