A sign of the times.
Sleepin_Dragon1 August 2021
Mike arrests a young lad who's behaving erratically and aggressively, a couple report the discovery of a dead old lady, the day they move into their new home.

There should be a prefix on the tag saying 'a lack of,' Inspector Monroe has it spot on when be says nobody gives a toss these days, never a truer word was spoken.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, the show so often does black and white, gritty, realistic stories, just now and then they threw a curve ball, a story that's quirky, and a little strange, the last one I remember, was series 8's Talk Out, the one where an odd couple report their missing neighbour, this has a similar odd vibe.

Excellent, and very much a sign of the times, a time where people turn the other way, and are quick to ignore what's going on. The Wilkins were clearly pushed to the limits, but are both deplorable. Wonderful to see the late Geoffrey Hutchings.

I wonder if the writer was, or knew a diabetic, John did exactly what my best friend used to do many years ago, which was where his tag around his ankle whenever we'd go out, he always claimed people would treat him differently, very well observed.

Always great to see Roberts Taylor, a small role for her here, but she'd be back, as Gina Gold.

Excellent, 9/10.
