Burning the Books
Prismark1019 December 2020
When an opportunistic thief is arrested for breaking into a car and stealing a briefcase.

Sampson who owns the car is worried. The briefcase has a notebook. He rings his boss Cohen to tell him what's happened.

Cohen has a warehouse that distributes porn magazines from abroad. Once Sampson calls him, he has them loaded back into a truck.

Galloway recognises Sampson at the police station and he has been after Cohen for years.

There is an element of keystone cops with this episode. John Blythe is the slimy charming and devious Cohen. He has a touch of Arthur Daley about him.

Cohen surprisingly manages to stay one step ahead of Galloway in this one.
