A great character driven episode.

Ken Farley is assaulted on the Cockroft Estate, the assaulter also attacks Polly, but legs it. Ken isn't an easy victim, and turns on those trying to help.

A good one, it does a good job of showing the poverty levels that were commonplace for many people in 1993, it was a tough time for many. A good story, plenty happening, but this one benefits from some very good characters.

People can't eat principles... The dynamic between Father and Daughter here is very good, the ideals of socialism contrasted against 1990's Tory Britain, very clever.

First off, wonderful to see Brian Glover, he was a unique actor, with an unmistakable and pretty unique voice, bags and bags of character and personality, Ken is a very interesting chap.

Peter Wight plays the part of the cigar smoking Frank Jennings very well.

8/10.
