Once regarded as a continuity error as Emma Peel's jumpsuit changes hue as she enters the car, it is now thought to be a mixing error during the early use of 'blue screen' (as opposed to back projection) . Purple's primary colors are red and blue so the blue would have been omitted. The producers were (or about to be) fired during this post-production so perhaps had other things to consider. -although they were later reinstated.
Today 'green screen' gives fewer problems.
When Mrs Peel awakes in the pub after being knocked out, she is wearing a purple and blue jumpsuit. She them leaves with Dr Haynes to go back to Forbes' house. When Emma goes from front door to front door towards the end of this episode and finally opens one, it is clearly bluish. After the following cut, she enters the house and the open door can be seen behind her, but it is now brown.
When Emma looks out of the window from her position in the chastity belt, she apparently sees 2 murders being committed in the centre of the village. However, when the view out of the same window is seen later when Emma is threatened with a helicopter ride, only fields and trees are visible.
Diana Rigg's stunt double is obvious during the ducking scene, because her fingers are larger than Diana's slender ones.
Mrs. Peel is knocked unconscious by a log and yet apparently has no painful knot on the back of her head.
Camera lights can been seen reflected in the library window as Haymes and the two heavies leaves to arrange Emmas helicopter ride.
Emma Peel is certainly too smart to run AWAY from the cover of trees when being chased by a helicopter.
