Convicted killer John Marriott has been sentenced to death by hanging, unfortunately the device fails multiple times, believing he's suffered enough, he is released from prison.
A middle of the road episode, not brilliant, but one that I guess has a glimmer of truth about it.
Good story, well acted, but perhaps just doesn't quite fascinate in the way that some of the other episodes did.
There are several stories out there, of men that escaped the hangman's noose, who can explain how or why, it's just one of those obscure happenings, one that there can simply be no reasoning.
Alfred Ryder does a decent job, his maniacal laughing does add a bit of spice to the proceedings.
7/10.
