Two stand offs, one with the Tax man, one with a store detective.
Sleepin_Dragon16 March 2019
Ben is terrified after having a letter from the Tax man, he's off food, off sex and depressed, Bill is still tormented having been left a phone number by the mysterious leather clad biker.

I loved the scene where Bill takes down the frustrated store detective, she's not a woman to be messed with.

This first series really is fully of quality, original, and very funny. It's just three episodes down and it's already a classic, My Family was never a patch on this. 8/10

High Noon

Warning: Spoilers
The biker appears again in this episode but once again without actually interacting with Bill, which adds to the sense of something mysterious going on with his character. Bill sees him on a TV screen (which from what she says later may not even be a working screen) when she's being lectured by an officious store detective. Bill is inspired to stand up to the dreadful woman, though being Bill I doubt she would have put up with this travesty for much longer anyway.

Meanwhile Ben has actual High Noon going on as he goes to meet with the Inland Revenue about something to do with his tax return. This is done very subtly and some viewers may well miss the reference, but 2.4 Children would rather be subtle and risk viewers not getting the joke. It's very well done.
